Weddings

I’m a photographer who just really loves people and finding out what makes them who they are – and there’s no better time to see someone’s truth than on their wedding day. As the saying goes, weddings bring out the best and the worst in people, and honestly, I’ve seen it all. The joy, the chaos, the tears, the quirky uncle with the giant iPad taking photos, the quiet glances no one else catches – all of it is a beautiful part of your day to be remembered.

To me, weddings aren’t about “the stuff”, they’re about two humans choosing each other. I’ve been a photographer at about 250-ish weddings across 15 countries, from backyard BBQs in Melbourne with a handful of loved ones to three-day forest festivals in the Netherlands with friends flying in from all over the world. The best weddings aren’t defined by size or expense, they’re the ones that feel just like the people at the centre of it.

When a wedding feels like the two of you – your laughter, your inside jokes, your comfort in each other’s company – that’s where the magic is. Not in the outfits, the flowers or the location but in the in-between moments where everyone else fades, and all you see is each other. That is what I want to photograph.

There’s no awkward posing, no vanishing for hours chasing perfect golden light for my portfolio (unless that’s what you’re into so hell yeah, I’m all in!). Instead, I’ll document the big, the small, and everything in between. Think of me as a friend with a camera who doesn’t drink all your beer. There’s no expectations or performance, just honest images that let you be you, so when you look back, what stays isn’t just how it looked, but how it felt to be loved, to belong, and to be truly known.
